Wacky Tie Films
Wacky Tie Films is a film production company based in Tampere, Finland, founded in 2012. We have worked on several projects during our history – both fictional and documentary films, corporate commercials, music videos and TV shows for Finnish Broadcasting Company. We work in all sections of a filmmaking process from writing to editing and can execute a whole film project or only parts of it. In filmmaking we specialize in editing and don't shy away from saying we have some of the best editors in Finland. Our editors have worked with several directors from all over Finland and almost all of them say they never want to work with anyone else again. We have also done international projects. I Am a Spider documentary was done in collaboration with an Australian art collective Branch Nebula and was partly filmed in Australia. Fair Play documentary takes place in Tanzania but is directed by a Finnish documentary director Tommi Rajala. Our office is located in the center of Tampere, Kehräsaari in the same premises with Pirkanmaa Film Centre. We’re always happy to make a cup of joe to a friendly visitor, do drop by. Some days there’s cake too!
